Vers Libre

NEW EVENT AND THEME TO BE ANNOUNCED VERS LIBRE is an event dedicated to poetry readings related to Eastern European and Balkan cultures as well as immigrant poetry in Paris. Due to shared linguistic roots and history, our goal is to bring together poets from Paris who wish to read their poems in Slavic/Balkan languages or poems connected to the culture of their region. Each month, poets recite their poems or those of poets they wish to share, thus sharing the richness of their culture with the public.

TO ATTEND: Simply get your ticket below or at the entrance (if space is available). Tickets: 7 euros - for all 5 euros - for students / under 26 years old (presenting ID is mandatory) (cash and cards accepted) (donantions are welcome online below or at the entrance if you wish to support us) FOR POETS: (participation is free) If your poem resonates with it, you can read the poem in the language of your choice. We show translation (if applicable) and share brochures though which the audience can discover your talent. IS YOUR POETRY NOT RELATED TO THE MENTIONED REGIONS? No worries! You’re more than welcome to participate! Each month, a SECONDARY THEME is announced. THE APPLICATION PROCEDURE is the same for everyone: 1. Submit your poem though the google form below once a new event is announced. 2. You recieve a notification. 3. The submission is reviewed by the organisers. 4. We let you know in less than 24 h whether your submission was accepted. In that case, you are introduced to further information for participation and arrival to the event. IMPORTANT: submissions are not accepted later than 48 h before the event.
